The master’s program for IT Management consists of nine core courses that are relevant to the professional field of information technology. The paper for the final project is about the customer relationship management (CRM) system, which is used at a health insurance company. The health insurance company uses the CRM system for customer service strategy, which is aimed at managing and cultivating relationships with customers. The CRM system focuses on the three stages of a healthy customer lifecycle: customer engagement, customer loyalty and customer advocate. The project explains the issues that a user faces daily while using the CRM system and how the use of the systems development life cycle (SDLC) can assist in resolving those issues. The action research oriented feasibility study will be presented to top management. There are diagrams, a chart, and a questionnaire that help to support the research. The remaining eight core courses, however, may or may not support t he study. The study consists of four chapters and an appendix. The first chapter consists of six sections: introduction, situation analysis, premise, definitions, limitations, and delimitations.
